Antique Scott’s Emulsion Amethyst Glass Bottle c.1900 vintage australian advertising and visually punchy from everyarly 20th century Scotts Emulsion cod liver oil bottle in sun coloured amethyst glass. Rectangular form with chamfered shoulders and embossed branding to both sides. Originally manufactured in clear glass, the rich purple tone has developed through long exposure to sunlight, a characteristic transformation of manganese glass.
